Dental Front Desk Receptionist – Full-Time / Part-Time - Garfield Dental Group - Monterey Park, CA

Overview We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and motivated Dental Front Desk Receptionist to join our dental office. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable communicating with patients. Previous dental or medical office experience is preferred, but we are willing to consider candidates who are eager to learn and have excellent communication and customer service skills. Responsibilities Answer incoming phone calls in a friendly and professional manner Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments Greet and check in patients Register new patients and update patient information Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits Assist patients with insurance and treatment-related questions Make appointment confirmation and follow-up calls Check patients in and out Collect and process patient payments Maintain accurate patient records Communicate effectively with doctors, assistants, and other team members Help maintain an organized and welcoming front desk Perform other general front office duties as needed Qualifications Experience English required Mandarin and/or Cantonese preferred Previous experience in a dental preferred Dental insurance knowledge is a plus Strong communication and customer service skills Friendly, professional, and patient-focused personality Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated Well organized and detail-oriented Ability to multitask in a busy dental office Comfortable using computers and learning dental software Ability to work independently as well as part of a team What We Offer Friendly and supportive work environment Training provided as needed Opportunity for long-term growth Stable dental office environment Pay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour Work Location: In person
