Dental Assistant Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our professional dental team. The ideal candidate will support the delivery of high-quality patient care, assist the dental team with clinical procedures, and ensure smooth daily operations within our clinic. This role requires prior experience in a dental clinic setting, proficiency with patient management software, and a strong commitment to patient comfort and safety. The Dental Assistant will work closely with our endodontic specialist to provide exceptional dental services in a welcoming environment. Responsibilities Assist the dental team during patient examinations and procedures, ensuring all instruments and materials are prepared and sterilized appropriately Support the endodontic specialist with specific clinical tasks related to root canal treatments and other endodontic procedures Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, addressing questions, and ensuring patients feel comfortable throughout their visit Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment in compliance with health and safety regulations Ensure all dental equipment is properly maintained and sterilized for safe use Skills Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment Experience in with Microsoft Word and Outlook Patient charting & typing Strong knowledge of patient management software systems Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety Knowledge of clinical procedures related to endodontic treatments is a plus Compassionate attitude with a focus on providing exceptional patient care Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 24.0 per week Benefits: Paid sick time Paid training Work Location: In person
