Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Duties Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment before and after use. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient visit. Perform tasks related to patient care, including taking dental x-rays and impressions. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Manage appointment scheduling and patient follow-ups using dental software such as Dentrix . Support pediatric dentistry procedures with a gentle approach to ensure child comfort. Assist in general dentistry tasks, including preventive care and prosthodontics as needed. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a high standard of care is maintained throughout the clinic. Requirements Previous experience as a Dental Assistant. Familiarity with dental coding and dental documentation processes is advantageous. Proficiency in using dental software such as Dentrix is desirable. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are essential for maintaining accurate records. Ability to work well under pressure while providing compassionate care to patients.
