Now hiring a dental assistant for a comprehensive, family dental practice. The optimal candidate will be an outgoing, positive team member. He or she should possess good communication skills, the willingness to learn, and ability to work with a team . Prior dental experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Hours are 8 am- 5 pm, 4 days/week. Approximately 32hrs. * Tasks include: Chairside dental assistant: assisting dentist using four-handed dentistry technique Seating patients, gathering information of patient’s condition and communicating patient’s needs to dentist Taking dental radiographs Sterilization of dental instruments and equipment Delivering post- operative instructions to patients Taking impressions Routine lab work e.g. pouring models, trimming models, fabrication of retainers/mouthguards Accurate reporting of procedures, including writing treatment notes and submitting dental codes based on procedures completed Computer literate: ability to type and enter information into the electronic patient record * * Competitive wages, health insurance, 401K * Job Type: Part-time Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 24.0 – 40.0 per week Benefits: Dental insurance Employee discount Health insurance Health savings account Paid sick time Paid time off Ability to Commute: Kearney, NE 68845 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Kearney, NE 68845: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
