Our modern, fully digital private dental practice in Auburn looking for an experienced and motivated Registered Dental Assistant Extended Function 2 (RDAEF2) to join our team. Our office is equipped with new properly maintained equipment and technology, and we are committed to providing high quality dentistry in a professional, organized, and supportive environment. The RDAEF2 will be an important part of our clinical team and will work closely with the doctor and other team members to provide exceptional patient care. We are looking for someone who is confident, dependable, highly organized, clinically skilled, and passionate about patient care. Our hours are Mon, Tues, Thurs 8-5, and Fri 8-2. Responsibilities Provide exceptional chairside assistance to the doctor Assist with restorative, crown and bridge, implant, and other general dentistry procedures Perform RDAEF2 duties within the scope of California license Monitor clinical supplies and place orders Take digital X-rays and intraoral photographs Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation Enter and update patient information and clinical notes in Eaglesoft Provide outstanding patient care before, during, and after treatment Help patients feel comfortable, informed, and well cared for Prepare treatment rooms and ensure they are fully stocked and ready for each patient Maintain sterilization and infection-control standards Properly maintain and care for instruments and equipment Assist with lab cases and communication Help maintain efficient patient flow and keep the schedule running smoothly Anticipate the doctor's needs during procedures Help train and support other clinical team members Follow OSHA, infection-control, and office protocols Qualifications Current California RDA or RDAEF2 license Current CPR/BLS certification Previous dental assisting experience required Lead or senior dental assisting experience preferred Strong knowledge of dental procedures and infection control Excellent chairside skills Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills Experience working in a digital dental office Eaglesoft experience preferred but not required Strong organizational and time-management skills Detail-oriented and dependable Professional appearance and demeanor Ability to multitask while maintaining excellent patient care Ability to take initiative and anticipate the needs of the office Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 – 35.0 per week Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Paid time off Work Location: In person
