Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Irvine, CA
Location: Irvine, CA Position: Dental Assistant (Bilingual- Korean) Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time Our office is a modern, patient-focused dental practice in Irvine dedicated to providing comfortable, honest, and personalized dental care. We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and motivated Dental Assistant to join our growing team. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during general and restorative dental procedures Prepare treatment rooms and instruments before and after procedures Take and develop digital dental X-rays and CBCT scans as needed Assist with digital scanning and other modern dental technology Maintain proper infection control and sterilization protocols Prepare and maintain dental instruments and operatory equipment Provide chairside assistance during procedures Take accurate dental records and treatment notes Assist with patient preparation and post-operative instructions Communicate professionally and compassionately with patients Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment Assist with stocking supplies and maintaining inventory Follow OSHA, HIPAA, and office infection-control guidelines Support the dental team with other clinical duties as needed Qualifications Dental assisting experience preferred DA/RDA certification preferred, but experience and willingness to learn will also be considered Current CPR certification preferred Knowledge of dental terminology and basic dental procedures Ability to take digital X-rays is a plus Experience with digital scanners and CBCT is a plus Strong communication and interpersonal skills Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Positive attitude and professional appearance Ability to work effectively as part of a team Comfortable working in a fast-paced dental office Korean Language Skills Korean-speaking ability is a strong plus , as we serve many Korean-speaking patients. However, Korean language ability is not required.
