Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Dentist to join our dental office. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive dental care to patients, ensuring their oral health and well-being. This role involves performing a variety of dental procedures, diagnosing oral health issues, and educating patients on maintaining healthy smiles. Duties Perform routine and complex dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatments for patients. Provide preventive care, including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and patient education on oral hygiene practices. Carry out restorative procedures such as fillings, crowns, bridges, and root canals. Administer local anesthesia and sedation as needed to ensure patient comfort during procedures. Take and interpret dental radiographs (X-rays) to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning. Develop personalized treatment plans based on patient assessments and needs. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with legal and professional standards. Educate patients on oral health maintenance, including proper brushing, flossing techniques, and lifestyle habits. Collaborate with dental team members to ensure smooth clinic operations and exceptional patient care. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and sterilization procedures within the dental office. Qualifications Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution. Valid license to practice dentistry in the relevant jurisdiction. Proven experience working in a dental office setting is preferred but not mandatory; new graduates are welcome to apply. Strong knowledge of current dental practices, procedures, and technology. Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
