Job Summary Dynamic Smiles Orthodontics is looking for a motivated, dependable, and personable Orthodontic Assistant to join our growing practice. We are looking for someone who is not only interested in orthodontic assisting, but also wants the opportunity to grow professionally and take on a larger role within the practice over time . For the right candidate, this position will include opportunities to learn more about Treatment Coordinating Responsibilities Assist the orthodontist during patient appointments Prepare treatment rooms and maintain clinical areas Take photographs, scans, X-rays, and other orthodontic records as appropriate Assist with braces, aligners, expanders, retainers, and other orthodontic appliances Provide patients and parents with instructions regarding treatment and home care Maintain proper sterilization and infection-control procedures Help maintain an organized and efficient patient flow Communicate professionally and compassionately with patients and families Work closely with the doctor and other team members Participate in additional training related to Treatment Coordinating and patient consultations Growth Opportunity We would especially like to find someone who wants to grow with our practice long term . Qualifications Previous dental or orthodontic assisting experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Friendly, professional, and patient-focused personality Reliable and dependable Organized and detail-oriented Comfortable working with both children and adults Ability to work well as part of a team Positive attitude and willingness to learn Interest in professional growth and taking on additional responsibilities Pay: $24.00 - $29.50 per hour Expected hours: 18.0 â 30.0 per week Benefits: Employee discount Paid time off Work Location: In person
