Dental Assistant - Crossroads Family Dentistry - Colorado Springs, CO

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team at Crossroads Family Dentistry . The ideal candidate will bring experience in both general and pediatric dentistry, possess strong knowledge of dental terminology, and be comfortable managing clinical workflows using Dentrix . This role involves assisting the dentist during a variety of procedures, supporting pediatric and adult patients, and ensuring a clean and efficient clinical environment. Take and record vital signs and update medical histories accurately. Capture and manage high-quality dental imaging (X-rays, intraoral photos). Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment instructions. Maintain cleanliness of operatories, sterilize instruments, and follow OSHA protocols. Use Dentrix for patient charting, appointment scheduling, and managing clinical notes. Provide support to pediatric patients with a compassionate and friendly approach. Schedule Monday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Huddle at 7:45 AM) Tuesday–Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Huddle at 6:45 AM) Friday (alternating): 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Huddle at 6:30 AM) (You’ll work four days per week—Fridays alternate.) Qualifications 2-3 years of General Dentistry experience Experience with Dentrix is required. Knowledge of dental/medical terminology and dental imaging. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Team-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical setting.
