In this role, you will work closely with the pediatric dentist to deliver exceptional care while making dental visit a fun, positive and stress free experience for children and their families. RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide dedicated chairside assistance during pediatric dental examinations, restorative procedures and surgical treatments. Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize dental instruments, and ensure all equiptment is set up prior to patient arrival. Greet pediatric patients warmly, use good management techniques to ease anxiety. Take good dental x rays. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS HIgh school diploma or equivalent. Completion of an accredited dental assisting program preferred. Previous experience working with children, toddlers, or patients with special healthcare needs is highly desired. Exceptional interpersonal skills.
