We are looking for an experienced Dental Assistant who will make our dental practice more efficient and pleasant for patients. We are a high-energy concierge dental practice with a family-like feel; therefore, our ideal dental assistant should be friendly, well-organized, efficient, and have great attention to detail. We want you to be skilled in providing direct or indirect patient care and contribute to making the procedures and patient hand-offs as smooth as possible. We will begin with phone interviews, which may lead to an in-person interview for the right candidates. Compensation to match dental assistants' level of experience. Tiered PTO Structure. The Ideal Candidate can: - Make high-quality temporaries - Use an Intra-oral Scanner (Digital Dentistry – Trios 3 & 5 & Itero) - Pack Retraction Cord - Take Pre-Op impressions & alginate impressions - Has EFDA Certification - Maintain a calm and welcoming demeanor and environment for patients - Assist during Crown & Bridge, Cosmetic, Oral Surgery & Implant Procedures Responsibilities - Greet patients by name in the dental office - Prepare patient for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort - Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed for procedures - Sterilize instruments according to regulations - Assist the dentist - Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions - Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked Requirements - Computer skills necessary - CDA/EFDA licensing required - Proven experience as dental assistant at least 2 years - Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods - Understanding of health, safety and privacy regulations - Excellent communication and people skills - Attention to detail - Well-organized and reliable - High school diploma; graduating from dental assistant school is preferred - Additional certification or training is an asset Job Type: Full-time Experience: dental assistant: 2 years (Required) Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) License: CDA (Required) X-ray (Preferred) Work authorization: United States (Required) Work Location: One location Benefits: Paid time off Clinical Setting: General Dentistry, Oral Surgery, Implant Dentistry, Cosmetic Dentistry CDA/RDA License Required: Yes Work Remotely: No Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 36.0 per week Benefits: Paid time off Work Location: In person
