Cosmetic Dentistry of the Carolinas – Huntersville, NC Cosmetic Dentistry of the Carolinas is seeking a Dental Patient Coordinator with at least 3 years of dental office experience to join our boutique general and cosmetic dental practice. We are a fee-for-service office that places a strong emphasis on personalized care, lasting patient relationships, and an exceptional experience from the first phone call through treatment. We are looking for someone who is warm, organized, proactive, and confident working with patients while keeping the front office running smoothly. The right person for this role enjoys building relationships, takes ownership of their responsibilities, and works well as part of a collaborative team. Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM Responsibilities Welcome patients and create a warm, positive first impression Manage patient check-in and check-out Answer incoming calls and assist both new and existing patients Schedule appointments and help maintain an efficient, productive schedule Coordinate recommended treatment and follow up with patients regarding unscheduled care Review treatment fees, payment arrangements, and financing options Collect payments and maintain accurate patient account information File dental insurance claims on behalf of patients as a courtesy Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in Dentrix Communicate closely with doctors, assistants, hygiene, and other front-office team members Anticipate patient needs and help ensure a smooth experience throughout their visit Support the team and assist with other front-office responsibilities as needed Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of dental office experience required Prior experience in dental front desk, scheduling, patient coordination, or treatment coordination Knowledge of dental insurance, benefits, and claims is a plus Warm, welcoming, and personable, with a natural ability to make patients feel comfortable and cared for Excellent communication and customer service skills Comfortable discussing treatment costs and financial arrangements with patients Highly organized with strong attention to detail Able to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities throughout the day Dependable with excellent follow-through Proactive and comfortable taking initiative Team-oriented and willing to step in and help wherever needed About Our Practice Cosmetic Dentistry of the Carolinas is a boutique, fee-for-service general and cosmetic dental practice . We are not in-network with dental insurance companies; however, we file insurance claims for our patients as a courtesy. Our front-office team plays an important role in the patient experience.
