Duties: - Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations - Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment - Assist dentist during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs - Take and develop dental X-rays - Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar software - Educate patients on oral hygiene practices - Perform lab tasks including pouring and trimming models, fabricating custom trays, and temporary crowns -Needs to be able to make temporary crowns and bridges in a efficient manner -competent with dentures and partials -competent with OS & Implants Requirements: - Completion of an accredited dental assisting program - X-Ray certification - Efficient & multi tasker - Confident and competent in making single unit temporaries, bridge temporaries, cosmetic cases - Experience with Dentrix Ascend or similar practice management software - Ability to perform patient assessments accurately - Strong skills in medical imaging techniques - Familiarity with maintaining medical records and documentation using Dentrix or similar systems -Implant experience -Knows how to use iTero scanners for crowns and Invisalign This is a great opportunity for a dedicated Dental Assistant to contribute to a dynamic dental practice.
