Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthodontic Assistant to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our Orthodontist. Duties Assist Orthodontist during procedures by preparing the treatment area and ensuring all necessary instruments are available. Perform medical imaging procedures such as Pan's, PA's, Bitewings, and iTero scans ensuring compliance with safety protocols including HIPAA regulations. Ability to fit bands, setup for bonding, steel tie and ormolasts for arch wires. Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with practice protocols Experience Previous experience as an Orthodontic Assistant Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures related to orthodontics is advantageous. Experience with medical imaging techniques and equipment is a plus. Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices will be beneficial when working with younger patients.
