Bend Prosthodontics is looking for an experienced, motivated Prosthodontic Assistant to join our team in Bend, Oregon. Weâre looking for someone who is confident chairside, takes pride in excellent patient care, and is interested in growing their skills in advanced prosthodontic treatment . This can provide additional time off throughout the year, and the schedule will be communicated in advance whenever possible. Qualifications EFDA certification required 3+ years of general dental assisting experience Current BLS/CPR certification Strong chairside assisting skills Excellent understanding of dental terminology, instrumentation, and infection control Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Professional and compassionate with patients Comfortable working as part of a close-knit clinical team Able to maintain focus and efficiency during lengthy procedures Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate effectively with multiple dental laboratories Comfortable communicating case details, prescriptions, timelines, and treatment needs with dental labs Experience with digital dentistry is a plus Experience with 3D printing is a plus Experience using a SprintRay 3D printer is highly desirable Prosthodontic or implant experience is a plus What Youâll Do As a Prosthodontic Assistant at Bend Prosthodontics, youâll have the opportunity to work alongside the doctor on a wide range of restorative and prosthodontic cases, including complex treatment. Responsibilities may include: Chairside assisting for prosthodontic and restorative procedures Assisting with full-mouth rehabilitation (FMR) and other lengthy, complex procedures Supporting implant and All-on-X cases Taking digital scans and impressions Working with digital files and workflows Operating and/or learning to operate our SprintRay 3D printer Printing dental models, provisionals, appliances, and other indicated items as directed Preparing and passing instruments and materials Communicating with and coordinating cases between multiple dental laboratories Tracking lab cases, submissions, returns, and case deadlines Maintaining accurate clinical documentation Maintaining a clean, organized, and properly stocked operatory Following strict sterilization and infection-control protocols Providing exceptional patient support throughout treatment Performing EFDA duties within the scope of Oregon regulations Opportunity to Grow Weâre looking for someone who wants to learn and grow . If you already have prosthodontic, implant, laboratory, or digital dentistry experience, that's fantastic. If you have a strong general dentistry background and are eager to learn, weâre willing to train and develop the right person in advanced procedures, including All-on-X and digital workflows . Experience with our SprintRay 3D printing workflow is a plus, but willingness to learn is just as important. You should be comfortable with the demands of longer procedures and able to remain focused, organized, and positive throughout cases such as FMR. Who Will Thrive Here?
