Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Chicago, IL
Job Summary We are looking for a reliable and experienced Dental Surgical Assistant to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will assist dentists during surgical procedures, prepare treatment rooms, maintain sterilization standards, manage instruments, and provide excellent patient support. Requirements: Dental assisting experience preferred Surgical/implant experience a plus Strong knowledge of sterilization and infection control Professional, dependable, and team-oriented CPR/BLS certification preferred Duties Assist the dentist during examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures. Prepare patients, rooms, instruments, and materials. Anticipate dentist needs and support efficient procedures. Provide patient comfort and post-treatment instructions. Follow sterilization, infection control, and safety protocols. Clean and sterilize instruments and equipment. Take X-rays when authorized. Maintain patient records and clinical charts. Monitor and organize clinical supplies and inventory.
