Responsibilities: Support the dentist during exams and various procedures Set up, clean, and sterilize instruments and treatment areas Capture and develop dental X-rays (radiographs) Accurately document patient records and treatment details Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and aftercare instructions Follow all infection control and safety guidelines Monitor inventory and assist with maintaining smooth daily operations Qualifications: At least 6 months of dental assisting experience Valid Dental Assistant certification or equivalent hands-on experience Familiarity with dental terminology, procedures, and chairside support Strong communication skills and ability to work well with a team Professional demeanour with great attention to detail Experience with Open Dental software is a plus Benefits: Competitive compensation based on experience Paid time off and holiday pay Dental benefits for employees Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour Benefits: Dental insurance Experience: Dental assisting: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: X-Ray Certification (Preferred) Work Location: In person
