Duties Patient Assessments & Diagnosis: Conduct thorough reviews of medical/dental histories, perform oral examinations, and utilize advanced diagnostic imaging (digital X-rays, intraoral cameras). Treatment Planning: Develop and communicate comprehensive treatment plans including restorations, extractions, oral surgery, and dental implants. Clinical Excellence: Perform clinical procedures with precision, utilizing four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize workflow and maximize patient comfort. Patient Communication: Clearly explain diagnoses, treatment options, and post-operative care instructions to foster trust and long-term patient relationships. Compliance & Documentation: Ensure strict adherence to aseptic techniques, OSHA infection control protocols, and HIPAA regulations. Document medical records accurately using practice management software. Continuous Education: Stay current on industry best practices, new procedural protocols, medical imaging advancements, and dental fabrication techniques. Qualifications Education: DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school. Licensure: Active, unrestricted dental license to practice in the State of Oregon. Core Skills: Comprehensive knowledge of general dentistry, dental anatomy, and healthcare diagnosis principles. Compliance Knowledge: Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations, OSHA guidelines, and state healthcare laws regarding medical record management. Clinical Experience: Proven experience in general dentistry; proficiency in oral surgery, prosthodontics, orthodontics, and implantology is highly preferred. Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with dental practice management software (Open Dental, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix).
