Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Muncie, IN
Responsibilities: - Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments - Take and develop dental x-rays - Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care - Perform patient assessments, including taking vital signs and medical history - Enter patient information into the electronic health record system - Manage and organize medical records and documentation Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Completion of an accredited dental assistant program - X-ray certification required - Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
