Part-Time Pediatric Dental Front Office Coordinator â 2 Days per Week Schell Smiles Pediatric Dentistry Mount Juliet, Tennessee Part-time | Two days per week Pay: $18â$24 per hour, based on experience About Us Schell Smiles Pediatric Dentistry is a new, modern pediatric dental office opening in Mount Juliet. We are building a friendly, energetic team focused on providing children and their families with comfortable, positive, and personalized dental experiences. We are seeking an experienced Dental Front Office Coordinator who is warm, dependable, organized, and confident handling both patient communication and dental insurance responsibilities. This person will often be a familyâs first interaction with our office and will play an important role in making every visit feel easy and welcoming. Responsibilities Welcome patients and families with a friendly, professional attitude Answer incoming calls, respond to messages, and assist families with questions Schedule new and existing patients while maintaining an efficient appointment schedule Complete patient check-in and check-out Confirm appointments and follow up with patients regarding incomplete forms Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits Accurately enter insurance coverage and benefit information Prepare treatment estimates and clearly explain expected patient portions Present treatment plans to parents and help arrange future appointments Submit dental insurance claims and supporting documentation Monitor outstanding claims and follow up with insurance companies Collect copayments, deductibles, and outstanding patient balances Post payments and maintain accurate patient accounts Help manage recalls, cancellations, and the short-call list Protect patient information and follow HIPAA requirements Support the clinical team and assist with general office needs Help create organized front-office systems as our new practice grows Work with Archy Dental Software Required Qualifications Previous dental front-office experience Experience verifying dental insurance benefits Familiarity with dental terminology, treatment plans, and procedure codes Experience submitting and following up on dental insurance claims Experience collecting payments and discussing financial responsibilities with patients Strong phone, customer-service, and written communication skills Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to multitask while remaining calm and welcoming Dependable, punctual, professional, and comfortable working independently Basic knowledge of HIPAA and patient-privacy requirements Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour Experience: dental front office: 2 years (Required) Language: Spanish (Preferred) Work Location: In person
