Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Syracuse, UT
Responsibilities include: Assist our hygienists throughout the day to keep the hygiene schedule running smoothly and on time Seat and prepare patients for hygiene appointments Take and record blood pressure and update medical histories Take dental X-rays as needed Assist hygienists and dentists with examinations and procedures Turn over and prepare hygiene rooms between patients Clean, sterilize, and organize dental instruments and equipment Stock treatment rooms and maintain supplies Enter and update patient information in Dentrix Help provide a comfortable and positive experience for both adult and pediatric patients Support the hygiene and clinical teams wherever needed What we're looking for: Dental assisting experience preferred Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures Dentrix experience is a plus Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Friendly and professional communication skills Dependable, punctual, and willing to take initiative A positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to help wherever needed Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 â 36.0 per week Benefits: Dental insurance Disability insurance Employee discount Health insurance Life insurance On-the-job training Paid sick time Paid time off Paid training Vision insurance Experience: Dental assisting: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: CPR Certification and X-ray Certified (Preferred) Work Location: In person
