Dental Assistant: Oral Surgery - Tri-State Oral Surgery, LLC - Evansville, IN

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the doctors during a variety of treatment procedures and help provide quality patient care in a dental clinic setting. Accepting applications from CDAs, DAs, CSTs, CMAs, or other relevant clinical fields; though previous dental or medical experience is not required as on the job training is offered. Our assistants work at our Evansville, IN location but are also required to drive to our Owensboro, KY location one day a week. Competitive benefits included for full-time employees. Duties - Assist the doctor during examinations and treatment procedures - Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment - Take and record vital signs of patients - Perform four-handed dentistry techniques efficiently - Manage patient flow to ensure efficient workflow - Maintain accurate patient records using DSN or similar software - Provide chairside assistance to the doctor in various dental procedures - Educate patients on proper oral healthcare including post-op instructions Qualifications - Certification or Associate Degree in Dental Assisting preferred, but not required - Proficiency in dental terminology and procedures preferred - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols - Experience with dental or medical EMR or similar electronic health record systems is a plus - Previous experience as a Dental Assistant, Surgical Tech, or Dental Receptionist is advantageous Join our team and enjoy the opportunity to work in a dynamic dental clinic environment, utilizing your skills to provide exceptional patient care.
