We are seeking a versatile, experienced, and dedicated certified dental assistant to join our dental team The ideal candidate will provide exceptional clinical support while occasionally assisting our front office team. While the primary focus will be treatment area care, administrative experience is a major plus! Duties Chairside Assisting: Provide hands-on assistance to the dentist during clinical procedures using four handed dentistry to optimize workflow efficiency. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental equipment, and ensuring all tools are ready for use in accordance with OSHA, CDC, infection prevention management protocols Take dental x-rays while adhering to dental x-ray safety standards and radiation safety guidelines Manage patient records by updating medical documentation, medical records, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) regulations for patient privacy Valid certification as a Dental Assistant with current licensure or registration as required by local regulations Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with familiarity in general dentistry procedures Occasionally assist the front desk by welcoming patients and managing check-ins. Scheduling: Help schedule, confirm, and update patient appointments in Dentrix software Help with answering incoming phone calls. Expected hours: 30.0 – 34.0 per week Work Location: In person
