Overview: Our orthodontic office is looking to add a Part-Time Orthodontic Assistant to our team. We are a small, boutique office that values finding the right team member above all else. No clinical experience is needed â but a great attitude is essential to fit our patient-focused office culture! In this position, you will work directly chairside with Dr. Lenius, playing a key role in delivering exceptional orthodontic care and creating a positive, memorable experience for every patient and family that walks through our door. Schedule & Work-Life Balance: At Lenius Orthodontics, we understand that life happens outside of work â and we have built a schedule that reflects that. Our office currently operates 2â3 days per week, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, leaving your evenings and weekends completely free. As our practice continues to grow, our goal is to expand to 4 days per week over the next few years â giving our team members the opportunity to grow right along with us. We believe that a team member who has balance and flexibility outside of work is a happier, more engaged, and more motivated team member inside of it. Responsibilities: Assist Dr. Lenius chairside during orthodontic procedures including bonding, adjusting, and removing braces, wire changes, Invisalign appointments and appliance delivery. Greet patients warmly, establish rapport, and ensure they feel welcomed and valued throughout their orthodontic journey Prepare and sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment. Take and process digital X-rays and intraoral photographs. Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene, appliance care, and what to expect throughout treatment. Support the team with clinical administrative tasks as needed to keep the day running smoothly. Skills/Requirements No experience in dental/orthodontics is neededâthat is something we can teach.
