Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Albany, OR
Established dental practice looking for an enthusiastic and dependable Dental Assistant to join our team. Extensive dental experience is NOT required. We are willing to train the right person who is motivated, reliable, eager to learn, and enjoys working with people. Must have RDA, Oregon Radiology, Coronal Polishing certificates Who Weâre Looking For Positive, energetic, and enthusiastic Dependable and punctual Eager to learn and take feedback Comfortable working in a busy clinical environment Organized and willing to help wherever needed Strong communication and teamwork skills Dental experience is helpful, but less-experienced candidates are encouraged to apply Newer dental assistants and candidates looking to grow their skills are welcome Responsibilities Assist the dentist during procedures Prepare and turn over operatories Sterilize instruments and maintain infection-control standards Take radiographs when appropriately certified Help maintain instruments, supplies, and equipment Support smooth patient flow Help patients feel comfortable and cared for Assist the team with clinical and office organization as needed Compensation $20â$24/hour , based on experience, certifications, skills, and demonstrated ability.
