Orthodontic Assistant Willing to train the right person with good work ethic and a cheerful outgoing personality. Duties: - Assist orthodontist with patient care and treatment procedures - Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments - Take and develop dental x-rays - Provide patient education on oral hygiene and care instructions - Perform dental charting and maintain accurate medical documentation - Assist with orthodontic procedures such as bracket placement, wire adjustments, digital impressions (scans), and impressions - Print digital models and make retainers - Maintain inventory of dental supplies and equipment Skills: - Quick learner of computer software (Tops practice management software utilized) - Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control protocols - Familiarity with CAD/CAM systems for orthodontic appliances - Excellent communication skills, work ethic, and cheerful attitude - Experience in assisting with orthodontic procedures - Ability to work effectively with patients of all ages, including pediatrics We offer competitive pay and benefits, a great work environment, and paid time off.
