We are seeking a friendly and caring part-time or full-time Dental Assistant to join our growing patient-focused dental practice. As part of our team you will provide top-notch dental care that makes our patients feel like family. You will assist during restorative procedures and complete tasks such as stocking rooms. The ideal candidate is a hard working team player with excellent interpersonal and verbal skills who has the ability to interact with all age groups. Schedule: Monday-Thursday 7:45am-5:45pm (2 Fridays per month as needed) Responsibilities Seating and dismissing patients from the treatment rooms while making them feel comfortable. Assist the dentist chair-side. Take diagnostic quality radiographs & impressions. Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment and ensure patient safety. Set-up and breakdown of treatment rooms. Sterilize and disinfect instruments. Review patitent documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with HIPPA regulations. Maintain organization of lab cases and treatment rooms. Follow lab cases coming into and leaving the office. Qualifications Valid PA radiology certification. BLS certification. Knowledge of Eaglesoft or similar dental management software systems is an advantage. Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and comfort. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Attention to detail & stamina to meet the physical demands of the job (i.e. able to life up to 45 pounds). PA regulations require current (within 5 years) criminal background check, child abuse clearance, FBI fingerprinting.
