Sonara Dental Studio | Bryn Mawr, PA Sonara Dental Studio is seeking an experienced EFDA to join our growing team. We are a cosmetic and restorative dental practice that takes a thoughtful, intentional approach to patient care. Our office is intentionally slow-paced, allowing our clinical team the time and attention needed to provide exceptional dentistry without the pressure of a high-volume environment. We are an out-of-network practice focused primarily on cosmetic and restorative dentistry. Our services include crowns, bridges, veneers, comprehensive restorative treatment, and preventive and wellness-focused care. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their clinical work, has strong attention to detail, and enjoys working in a practice where quality comes before speed. About Our Practice At Sonara Dental Studio, we believe dentistry should never feel rushed. We intentionally allow more time for our patients and procedures so that our doctor and clinical team can focus on precision, comfort, and quality. Our practice focuses primarily on: Cosmetic dentistry Restorative dentistry Crowns and bridges Veneers and aesthetic dentistry Comprehensive restorative treatment Preventive and wellness-focused dentistry We do not perform root canals (RCTs), extractions, or other surgical procedures in our office. Patients requiring these services are referred to appropriate specialists. The Role The EFDA will work closely with Dr. Naila Bryan to provide excellent chairside support throughout cosmetic and restorative procedures and help create a smooth, comfortable experience for every patient. Responsibilities include: Chairside assisting for cosmetic and restorative procedures Assisting with crown, bridge, veneer, and other restorative procedures Taking digital impressions/scans as indicated Fabricating and placing provisional restorations Assisting with shade selection and cosmetic cases Taking dental radiographs as permitted Preparing materials and instruments for procedures Maintaining clean, organized, fully prepared operatories Sterilization and instrument processing Preparing and managing laboratory cases Tracking lab cases and ensuring cases are ready for scheduled appointments Maintaining accurate clinical documentation Anticipating the doctor's needs during procedures Providing patient education and post-operative instructions Helping patients feel comfortable throughout their appointments Following OSHA, infection control, and practice protocols Supporting the overall organization and flow of the clinical day What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is: A certified EFDA with relevant clinical experience Experienced in cosmetic and restorative dentistry Comfortable assisting with crowns, bridges, veneers, and other restorative procedures Detail-oriented and highly organized Confident with expanded-function duties Comfortable working independently while being a strong team player Able to anticipate the doctor's needs and stay one step ahead Professional, dependable, and accountable Warm and personable with patients Passionate about dentistry and committed to continued learning Comfortable working in a slower-paced, quality-focused environment Someone who takes pride in the details and wants to do things the right way rather than simply the fastest way Why Join Sonara Dental Studio?
