DENTAL ASSISTANT $24+/hr - Upcoming Opening! Interviewing Now! Insight Dental Care is an established general dentistry practice situated in the rapidly expanding Andorra/Roxborough PA area and we are seeking interviews for an upcoming DENTAL ASSISTANT opening. We are hiring for the following patient care shifts: Monday 8-5 Tuesday 8-5 Wednesday 8-5/6 Thursday 8-5 This position comes with potential for growth in hours, responsibility, and subsequent compensation. Other than current X-ray and CPR certification, we will train & coach from your level and do not require advanced experience or skills. General Responsibilities Welcome & patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed Sterilize instruments according to regulations Assist the dentist Undertake lab tasks as instructed Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked Schedule appointments Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures Skills Experience as dental assistant >1 Year preferred X-Ray License is a must Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods Understanding of health & safety regulations Good computer skills: we use Curve practice management software Excellent communication and people skills Attention to detail Well-organized and reliable High school diploma; graduating from dental assistant school is preferred Additional certification or training is an asset (e.g. EFDA) Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) matching Paid time off Experience: Dental assisting: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: X-Ray Certification (Required) Shift availability: Day Shift (Preferred) Work Location: In person
