Duties Perform comprehensive dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning utilizing advanced medical imaging and dental terminology. Deliver a wide range of dental services including restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, orthodontics, and oral surgery procedures. Utilize electronic health records systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix to document patient assessments, treatment plans, and medical documentation accurately. Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment. Communicate effectively with patients to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and post-treatment care instructions while fostering a positive patient experience. Collaborate with team members on four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize workflow efficiency and patient comfort. Stay informed about state healthcare regulations, HIPAA compliance standards, and updates in dental practices to ensure legal and ethical practice standards are met. Assist in dental fabrication processes and provide guidance on dental implants, orthodontics, endodontics, and other specialized procedures as needed. Requirements Valid dental license in the relevant state or region with current certification to practice dentistry. Proven experience working in a dental office or clinic environment with proficiency in dental office software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix. Strong knowledge of general dentistry procedures along with specialized skills in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, prosthodontics, endodontics, and orthodontics. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical imaging techniques, anatomy knowledge, and infection control protocols. Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, implant placements, and other complex procedures with precision. Excellent client communication skills combined with compassionate patient care practices tailored for diverse populations including pediatrics. Understanding of healthcare diagnosis processes and medical records management aligned with HIPAA regulations and state healthcare policies.
