Mansion Flats Dental | Downtown Sacramento, CA Mansion Flats Dental is looking for a friendly, dependable, and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team in Downtown Sacramento. We are looking for someone who takes pride in providing excellent patient care, works well as part of a team, and is comfortable in a fast-paced dental environment. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, professional, and passionate about dentistry. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations, procedures, and treatments Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for patient care Take and develop dental X-rays as permitted by certification and California requirements Take intraoral photographs and digital scans as needed Assist with restorative, crown, bridge, endodontic, and other dental procedures Prepare materials and instruments for procedures Maintain proper infection control and sterilization protocols Set up and break down operatories efficiently Provide patients with post-treatment instructions Help patients feel comfortable and cared for throughout their visit Maintain accurate clinical records and charting Communicate effectively with the front office and clinical team Monitor and maintain dental equipment and supplies Keep treatment rooms clean, organized, and properly stocked Follow OSHA, HIPAA, and office safety protocols Support the dental team wherever needed Qualifications Previous dental assisting experience preferred Current California dental assisting credentials/certifications as required for the duties performed Current CPR/BLS certification preferred Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures Strong attention to detail and organization Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Professional, positive, and dependable attitude Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy dental office Comfortable working directly with patients Team-oriented and willing to help wherever needed Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus What We Offer Supportive and professional team environment Opportunity to grow your dental skills and career Modern dental practice in Downtown Sacramento A patient-focused workplace where teamwork and quality care matter Competitive compensation based on experience About Mansion Flats Dental At Mansion Flats Dental, we strive to provide our patients with high-quality dental care in a comfortable and welcoming environment.
