Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic, take charge team member to join our team-orientated dental family in the charming town of Los Gatos. Must possess great people skills, be able to multi-task, and most importantly know how to have fun and take care of people. Prior knowledge of Open Dental software preferred, but not required. We look forward to having a wonderful person join our dental team! Description: Dental Assistants are responsible for assisting the dentist in the clinical treatment of patients. This includes preparing patients, sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting instrument trays, preparing materials, and assisting dentist during dental procedures. Position must expose dental X-rays, record treatment information in patient records, and provide post-operative instructions as prescribed by dentists. Position must assist dentist in management of medical and dental emergencies. Dental assistants must pour, trim, and polish study casts, and instruct patients in oral hygiene and plaque control programs.
