Dental Front Desk / Patient Experience Coordinator Essence Dentistry & Cosmetics | Forney, TX Full-time | $23â$27 per hour, based on experience and demonstrated skills Bilingual English/Spanish preferred At Essence Dentistry & Cosmetics, we want patients to remember how well they were treatedâfrom their first phone call through their final checkout. Our private general and cosmetic dental practice is seeking an experienced Patient Experience Coordinator who combines outstanding customer service with accuracy, confidence, and dependable follow-through. Our spa-like environment sets the tone, but the personal attention our team provides makes the experience. We are looking for someone who is warm and engaging, communicates professionally, takes initiative, and follows through without repeated reminders. What you will do: Create a welcoming, personalized experience by acknowledging patients promptly, remembering details, and anticipating their needs. Handle telephone calls with warmth and confidence, answer administrative questions accurately, and help prospective patients take the next step toward scheduling. Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, cancellations, recall, and follow-up while keeping the schedule organized and productive. Verify insurance eligibility and benefits accurately and on time, documenting relevant coverage details and resolving missing information before appointments. Recognize insurance limitations that may affect patient costs and coordinate with the treatment coordinator to prevent avoidable financial surprises. Prepare patients for their visits by obtaining forms, insurance information, and other required documentation. Confidently present doctor-approved treatment plans, explain estimated patient responsibility and approved payment options, and help patients move forward with scheduling. Collect patient portions confidently and respectfully according to office policy. Follow up on unscheduled treatment, address administrative and financial questions, and refer clinical questions to the treating dentist. Cross-train in comprehensive treatment coordination to provide dependable coverage during absences and busy periods. Maintain accurate patient records and document conversations, requests, and follow-up commitments. Handle routine patient concerns with patience, sound judgment, and a commitment to finding a solution. Work closely with the treatment coordinator and clinical team to keep patients informed and appointments running smoothly. What we are looking for: At least two years of dental front-office experience. Excellent telephone skills and a consistent record of attentive patient service. Experience with dental scheduling, insurance verification, and patient collections. Previous experience presenting dental treatment plans and discussing patient financial responsibility. Ability to discuss treatment costs comfortably, respond professionally to financial concerns, and ask for payment and scheduling decisions without pressuring patients. Strong organization, attention to detail, and reliable attendance. Resourcefulness: you identify problems, take appropriate action, and communicate before issues become urgent. Accountability: you follow through, own mistakes, and apply feedback. Open Dental experience preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. You will work directly with the practice owner and alongside our Treatment & Financial Coordinator, with clear responsibilities and established office procedures.
