Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Associate Dentist who is bilingual in Cantonese and Mandarin to join our vibrant dental team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional patient care, perform comprehensive dental diagnoses, and execute a wide range of general dentistry procedures. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental histories, to develop personalized treatment plans. Perform various dental procedures such as dental examinations, restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, and implant placements. Utilize dental imaging technology and adhere to aseptic techniques to ensure infection control and patient safety. Communicate effectively with patients in Cantonese and Mandarin, explaining diagnoses, treatment options, and post-treatment care clearly and compassionately. Maintain accurate medical documentation and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws. Collaborate with the dental team using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort. Stay current with advancements in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, and other specialties to provide the highest standard of care. Requirements Valid license to practice dentistry in the relevant jurisdiction with current certification. Bilingual proficiency in Cantonese and Mandarin is essential for effective client communication. Demonstrated experience with dental office management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy, infection control protocols, and healthcare diagnosis procedures. Proven ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, and implant crown procedures. Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and dental fabrication processes. Excellent client communication skills with a focus on delivering compassionate patient care and education. Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and adherence to all state healthcare regulations related to medical documentation and records management. Prior experience working in a busy dental clinic or healthcare setting is highly preferred.
