We are looking for an energetic, reliable, and patient-focused Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our team 1 to 2 days a week! Position Overview We are seeking a flexible Part-Time Dental Assistant to support our clinical team 1 to 2 days per week (with potential opportunity for additional shifts as our practice grows). This position is ideal for an assistant looking for supplemental days, a flexible schedule, or work-life balance in a supportive office culture. Key Responsibilities Assist the doctor during a wide range of restorative and clinical procedures. Prepare, organize, and sanitize operatories, instruments, and equipment following strict OSHA/HIPAA protocols. Take high-quality digital radiographs and intraoral photos. Perform sterilization duties, instrument tracking, and supply restocking. Provide warm, reassuring patient communication during check-in, treatment, and post-operative care instructions. Cross-assist front office team with patient check-in/check-out or phone calls during peak times when needed. Qualifications & Skills Active Texas RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) license. Current CPR / BLS certification. Knowledge of Open Dental (or similar dental practice management software) preferred. Experience taking digital X-rays and assisting with general dentistry procedures.
