Overview We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Associate General Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. The Associate General Dentist will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing a broad spectrum of dental conditions while ensuring compliance with all healthcare regulations and maintaining accurate medical documentation. Duties Perform comprehensive dental examinations, including patient assessment and diagnosis using medical imaging and dental terminology. Provide a wide range of general dentistry services such as dental restorations, root canal therapy, dental extractions, prosthodontics, and oral surgery. Conduct pediatric dentistry procedures with sensitivity to young patientsâ needs, including preventive care and behavior management. Utilize electronic health records systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix to document medical records accurately and ensure HIPAA compliance. Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during all procedures. Collaborate with specialists in orthodontics, endodontics, and implantology for comprehensive patient treatment planning. Communicate effectively with patients to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and post-treatment care instructions clearly and professionally. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of state healthcare regulations and industry best practices to ensure compliance at all times. Demonstrate proficiency in dental fabrication techniques and use of medical imaging equipment for precise diagnosis and treatment planning. Manage multiple cases efficiently through four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize patient comfort and clinical productivity. Qualifications Valid state dental license with eligibility to practice general dentistry in the designated region. Proven experience in dental office settings or clinics with a focus on comprehensive patient care. Strong knowledge of dental procedures including extractions, implants, orthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery. Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is highly desirable. Excellent understanding of HIPAA regulations, medical documentation standards, and infection control protocols. Ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations across age groups including pediatrics. Knowledge of medical terminology related to healthcare diagnosis and treatment planning.
