Typical work environment includes: Modern office setting Food provided ```Duties``` - Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations - Take and record patients' vital signs - Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures - Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment - Take dental impressions and X-rays - Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions - Schedule and confirm patient appointments - Maintain accurate patient records using dental software (Eaglesoft, Dentrix) - Handle administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, filing medical records, and verifying insurance information ```Requirements``` - Dental assisting certification or relevant experience accepted but not necessary - Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and terminology - Proficiency in using dental software (Open Dental) - Familiarity with medical records management and HIPAA regulations - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and dental team members - Ability to take accurate vital signs and record patient information - Basic knowledge of anatomy and oral health conditions - Experience with CAD/CAM technology is a plus Bilingual in Spanish is a must.
