At our office, you'll work side by side with Dr. Hilal and the clinical team on implant placements, grafting, and periodontal surgery, building advanced skills while helping patients get their health and confidence back. Advanced Periodontics & Implant Dentistry is a specialty practice in Odessa led by Dr. Hilal. We see fewer patients per day than a general office, so you have time to do things methodically, and our doctor invests in teaching our team so they can continue to grow in their career while working on our team. Our assistants build surgical and implant skills that put them at the top of their field. We're looking for a Surgical Dental Assistant who takes pride in patient comfort and wants to grow. You'll have a consistent schedule, hands-on surgical training, and a team that has your back. What you'll do: *Assist Dr. Hilal with implant, grafting, and periodontal surgeries *Set up and break down surgical trays and sterilize instruments *Take digital radiographs including periapical and CBCT exposures *Help patients feel calm and informed before, during and after procedures *Assist in appropriate documentation and record-keeping of encounters *Walk patients through post-op instructions and follow-up care What you'll bring: *Texas RDA preferred *Chairside experience preferred, but we'll train the right person *A dependable, calm, team-first attitude Benefits: *$16-$26/hour based on experience *Health insurance *401(k) *Holiday pay and paid days off *Monday-Friday 8-5, no weekends *Surgical and implant assisting training Pay: $16.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week Benefits: 401(k) Health insurance Health savings account Paid time off Retirement plan Work Location: In person
