Overview We are seeking a dedicated Part Time Dental Assistant to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will support daily clinical operations, assist with patient care, and ensure a smooth workflow within the dental practice. Duties Assist the dentist during various procedures, including oral surgeries. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing dental equipment and ensuring all tools are ready for patient appointments in accordance with sterilization procedures. Take and develop dental x-rays, adhering to safety protocols and ensuring high-quality imaging for accurate diagnosis. Maintain patient comfort and care throughout their visit, providing support and answering basic questions about procedures as appropriate. Manage dental terminology to effectively communicate with patients and team members. Operate and troubleshoot dental equipment to ensure proper functioning during procedures. Support administrative tasks as needed, including patient record updates and appointment scheduling. Requirements Prior experience working in a dental clinic setting is highly preferred. Knowledge of dental x-ray techniques and safety standards. Familiarity with dental sterilization procedures to maintain infection control standards. Understanding of dental terminology relevant to clinical practice. Experience handling dental equipment efficiently and safely. Strong patient care skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
