Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Dentist to join our vibrant dental team. Duties Perform thorough patient assessments, including dental examinations and medical history reviews, utilizing medical terminology and dental diagnosis skills. Deliver a wide range of general dentistry services such as dental cleanings, restorations, root canal therapy, dental extractions, prosthodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, and dental implants. Utilize dental imaging technology and maintain aseptic techniques to ensure infection control and patient safety. Develop personalized treatment plans based on healthcare diagnosis, anatomy knowledge, and clinical findings while adhering to HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws. Communicate effectively with patients to explain diagnoses, treatment options, procedures, and post-treatment care instructions. Maintain accurate medical records and document all procedures thoroughly in compliance with medical documentation standards. Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists in four-handed dentistry practices to optimize workflow efficiency. Stay current with advancements in dental terminology, techniques, and materials to provide the highest standard of care. Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and sterilization procedures during all clinical activities. Experience Proven experience working in a dental office or clinic setting with a strong foundation in general dentistry procedures. Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix or similar systems. Demonstrated ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, orthodontics, and pediatric dentistry procedures. Knowledge of medical imaging techniques and anatomy relevant to oral health assessments. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and state healthcare requirements for patient privacy and data security. Experience working with diverse patient populations including pediatrics is preferred. Strong client communication skills to foster trust and ensure positive patient experiences.
