Education High School Diploma Dental Assisting Certification (Preferred, but not required) License/Certification: Registered Dental Assistant, RDA license (Preferred, but not required) Experience: Dental Assistant: 2 years (Preferred, but not required) Orthodontic Assistant: 2 years (Preferred, but not required) Responsibilities: ● Sterilization and Organization of Instruments ● Treating Patients: arch wire changes, bracket placement, bonding, de-bonding, etc. ● Assisting Dr. Knowlton ● Taking X-Rays ● Manufacturing Retainers ● Maintenance of Lab ● Charting of Appliances in Lab ● Digital Intraoral Scans (cool technology!) ● Patient Charting ● Cleaning back office ● Sterilization/Infection Control ● Following OSHA/HIPPA Protocols ● Tray Preparation ● Help clean and sterilize chairs between patients ● Cross-training with Administrator What we offer: ● Huge opportunity for growth ● Competitive compensation ● 6 paid holidays ● Paid time off ● 401k match ● Team Mentality!
