Clinical Dental Assistant – Advanced & Digital Dentistry Arapahoe Dental | Boulder, CO Full-Time | Monday–Thursday | $19–$30/hour Are you a dental assistant who wants to do more than routine dentistry? Arapahoe Dental is looking for a motivated Clinical Dental Assistant to become part of our private practice in Boulder. Our office provides a wide range of dentistry under one roof, giving our assistants the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with advanced restorative dentistry, implants, surgery, cosmetic cases, digital workflows, and comprehensive treatment. About Our Practice Our practice is led by Dr. Luciano Retana , a prosthodontist with advanced training in restorative, implant, cosmetic, surgical, and periodontal dentistry. Our clinical team regularly works with cases involving: Dental implants and implant restorations All-on-X and full-arch dentistry Full-mouth rehabilitation Veneers and cosmetic smile makeovers CEREC same-day restorations Bone grafting and surgical procedures Periodontal treatment and surgery Complex extractions Digital impressions, CBCT imaging, and CAD/CAM dentistry Dr. Retana also lectures internationally and teaches other dental professionals. Education is a major part of our practice, and he enjoys helping team members understand the procedures they are assisting with rather than simply asking them to follow instructions. This is a great opportunity for someone who is curious, eager to learn, and interested in developing a broader clinical skill set. What You'll Be Doing As a member of our clinical team, you'll work closely with the doctor and other team members to keep patient care running smoothly. Your responsibilities will include: Chairside assisting during restorative, surgical, implant, cosmetic, periodontal, and general dental procedures Practicing efficient four-handed dentistry Setting up and breaking down treatment rooms Preparing instruments and materials for procedures Taking dental radiographs and assisting with CBCT imaging when trained Taking digital impressions Assisting with CEREC and PrimeScan workflows Supporting implant, All-on-X, and full-mouth rehabilitation cases Sterilizing instruments and maintaining clinical equipment Following infection-control and OSHA standards Documenting accurate clinical notes Reviewing postoperative instructions and home-care information with patients Keeping operatories and clinical areas organized Monitoring supplies and communicating inventory needs Helping patients feel comfortable throughout their appointments Who We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is dependable, organized, personable, and willing to learn . Dental assisting experience is preferred, but we care just as much about finding someone who takes initiative, communicates well, and wants to become a strong long-term member of our team. Experience with any of the following is helpful, but not required: Eaglesoft CEREC PrimeScan CBCT imaging Digital dentistry Implant or surgical assisting Four-handed dentistry Training can be provided for the right candidate.
