Immediate position available for a PART-TIME dental assistant. The right candidate will exhibit a positive attitude and be able to work as a team in a fast paced and fun environment. Job candidates must be available to work all day Monday, Wednesday, and Thursdays. There may be some additional Tuesday morning hours available for general anesthesia cases, but these hours are not guaranteed. The dental assisting team is responsible for all aspects of patient-centered care, including proper sterilization technique, charting, greeting/seating patients, cleaning children's teeth using dental instruments, 4-handed chairside assisting, and demonstrating proper oral hygiene technique as well as presenting post-operative instructions to parents and patients. Good communication and an upbeat and positive attitude are key elements for success! Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are highly encouraged to apply. Our office is in a busy area in Northeast Colorado Springs. It is a single doctor practice and is privately owned (i.e. not a corporate entity.) Our office is closed Fridays and weekends and all major holidays. We also provide in-office conscious sedation and general anesthesia for patients with extensive dental needs and/or special needs.
