DENTAL ASSISTANT, Full-Time A dental practice in Lakewood, New Jersey is looking for a full-time dental assistant. We are seeking a dependable and hardworking individual with strong communication skills. Hours: Monday – Thursday: 8:45 AM – 5:00 PM Friday: 8:45 AM – 2:00 PM No late nights, no weekends. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of dental assistant school is preferred, but not required. New Jersey X-ray license is highly preferred (required if performing X-ray duties). Responsibilities: Welcome patients to the dental office. Prepare patients for treatments or checkups, ensuring their comfort. Select and set up required instruments, equipment, and materials. Sterilize instruments according to regulations. Undertake laboratory tasks as instructed. Keep treatment rooms clean, sanitized, and well-stocked. Skills & Requirements: Perform dental radiographic exposures (X-rays) in compliance with New Jersey state law (if licensed). Good computer skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
