Dental Assistant – Full-Time Nona Smiles is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our clinical team in Lake Nona, Orlando. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with patients, works well in a team environment, and can stay organized in a busy dental office. The Dental Assistant will work closely with our doctors and clinical team to support patient care, treatment procedures, sterilization, documentation, and the daily clinical workflow. Key Responsibilities Assist the dentist during general, restorative, preventive, and cosmetic procedures Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for scheduled procedures Take and process digital dental X-rays Follow OSHA, sterilization, and infection-control protocols Accurately document and update patient records using Eaglesoft Provide patients with post-operative instructions and oral hygiene guidance Turn over and prepare treatment rooms between appointments Monitor, organize, and restock clinical supplies Maintain clean, organized, and properly prepared treatment areas Support the clinical schedule and help maintain an efficient patient flow Communicate effectively with dentists, hygienists, and other team members Provide patients with professional, friendly, and compassionate care Qualifications Dental Assistant certification or equivalent clinical experience Current Florida X-Ray Certification required Previous dental assisting experience preferred Experience with Eaglesoft preferred CPR/BLS certification preferred Familiarity with dental procedures, instruments, and sterilization protocols Strong communication and organizational skills Excellent attention to detail Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Dependable, professional, and team-oriented Spanish/English bilingual skills are a plus Compensation & Benefits $20.00–$22.00 per hour , based on experience Paid holidays Dental benefits Professional development and continuing education opportunities Modern office with advanced dental technology Consistent Monday–Friday schedule No weekends Opportunities for long-term growth and advancement About Nona Smiles Nona Smiles is an established dental practice serving the Lake Nona and Orlando communities .
