Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Treasure Island, FL
Looking for a temporary dental assistant for the months of December and January. Private office! Come join our wonderful dental home. Great employee atmosphere. Low stress. Great patients. Duties: - Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment - Take dental x-rays - Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care - Take impressions digitally and traditionally - Perform basic laboratory tasks such as pouring and trimming models - Schedule patient appointments and maintain patient records - Manage inventory of dental supplies and order as needed Skills: - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to work well in a team environment - Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments - Proficiency in computer software programs - Familiarity with medical records and documentation processes - Ability to perform patient assessments and provide appropriate care Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
