Surgical Dental Assistant - Georgia Implants and Dentures - Cumming, GA

Changing Smiles. Changing Lives. We're an implant practice that focuses on tooth replacement: full-arch implants (All-on-X), implant-supported and conventional dentures, and single implants. Many cases are done under oral or IV sedation. We don't do cleanings or fillings. Your days will be surgery, implant restoration, and denture appointments, backed by CBCT imaging and an in-house denture lab with 3D printing. We're looking for an experienced assistant who wants harder, more interesting cases than general dentistry offers. What You'll Do Assist the doctor during implant surgeries, extractions and full-arch cases, including cases done under sedation Assist the doctor through each stage of denture treatment, from impressions and bite records to try-ins, deliveries and adjustments Take impressions Set up and turn over operatories and surgical rooms, and sterilize instruments following infection control protocols Take CBCT scans and X-rays Go over post-op and denture care instructions with patients and answer their questions after treatment Keep chart notes and medical histories current in Open Dental What You'll Need 2+ years of chairside dental assisting experience Surgical, implant or denture experience strongly preferred Georgia radiology training completed Strong four-handed dentistry skills Someone who anticipates the doctor's next move and stays steady during surgical procedures Pay and Benefits Monthly bonuses Health insurance Paid time off Paid holidays Schedule Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
