Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive pediatric dental services including examinations, cleanings, restorations, extractions, and preventive care. Maintain detailed medical and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws. Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols diligently to ensure patient safety during all procedures. Collaborate with team members using four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize efficiency and patient comfort. Use dental imaging tools effectively for diagnosis, treatment planning, and documentation purposes. Communicate effectively with patients and families to promote oral health education and foster a positive experience. Experience Proven experience working in a dental clinic or office setting with pediatric patients, demonstrating excellent patient care skills. Familiarity with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is highly preferred. Prior experience performing pediatric dental procedures is beneficial and viewed favorably. Knowledge of medical terminology, medical documentation standards, and healthcare diagnosis processes is essential. Strong understanding of infection control practices, anatomy knowledge related to pediatric dentistry, and adherence to HIPAA guidelines.
