Oral surgery denatl assstiant Responsibilities Assist dentists during examinations and procedures to ensure a smooth workflow. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in compliance with safety protocols. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records using electronic health record systems such as Epic. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care. Manage inventory of dental supplies, ensuring that the clinic is well-stocked at all times. Schedule appointments and handle administrative tasks, including patient check-in and check-out processes. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure optimal patient care and satisfaction. Oral sugery dental assstiant Experience Previous experience in an oral surgeon's office is mandatory. Familiarity with medical terminology, dental terminology, and medical coding is highly desirable. Experience with medical imaging techniques is a plus. Knowledge of pediatrics is beneficial for working with younger patients. Previous experience as a dental receptionist can enhance your application.
