Dental Assistant - Oral and Facial Surgery of the Carolinas - Charlotte, NC

We are looking for a reliable, motivated, adn compassionate Dental Assistant to join our surgery team! the ideal candidate is a team player who is comfortable working in a fast paced surgical environment and is commited to providing excellent patient care. Responsibilites consist of: - Assist the oral surgeon during consultations and surgical procedures -Prepare treatment rooms and surgical instruments - Take Ctscans/ Panoramic dental xrays as needed - Assist with IV sedation and anesthesia procedures - Monitor and document patient vital signs -Maintain a clean, sterile and organized surgical enivironment - Maintain clean, sterile and organized surgical environment - Prepare and sterilize instruments according to OSHA and Infection control standards - Provide patients with pre- and post- operative intructions Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 24.0 – 32.0 per week Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Opportunities for advancement Paid time off Work Location: In person
